Why would he go to villa? He's got the owners wrapped around his little finger. They didn't sack him last season so they're hardly going to get rid now.
He's got the media eating out of the palm of his hand and he's even managed to.convince some west ham fans that without him we're doomed.

It 's not really a concern though is it? even if he left we're in no danger of relegation. Teddy Sheringham would be a fine interim manager and we could pursue a new manager for next season in the meantime. I think we would have our pick of the litter as well given stability of finances, current squad, full transfer window in summer with money to spend, and the OS on the horizon.
